I would like to draw to your attention an individual who has exceeded service excellence.
On the 31st of July 2008, my mother was admitted for an injury sustained during an RTA. She had fractured her ribs and also sustained a knee contusion. On this event, we encountered Nurse YAN PENG who had been on duty at ward 37, Nurse YAN PENG had been an epitome of compassion. Her dedication for the job was tremendous. She spoke the language of the suffering and understood each and every patients needs. Whilst we were there, we would overwhelm her with requests and each time she carried it out tirelessely only to ask if we required further assistance. She was approachable and did not have a sullen face, in which I would like to highlight, that some of the nurses had. She encouraged my mother and said that she was getting better and that psychologically motivated my mother. Service such as the one potrayed above, is extinct or hard to find. But, when found it deserves due recognition. That is the reason why I am penning this mail so that this message is widely reached to all levels of healthcare.

I’ve got to agree with the post up there. I was warded on 1st June 2009 and was in ward 37. True to every words above, Nurse Yan Peng made my stay as comfortable as possible. Assuring me that I will be fine though I have got to admit the pain was excruciating. She works with pure sincerity and throughout my stay there I observed that she treated all patients equally same, which is, caring for them and going the extra mile for them. And for that, I have to applaud Nurse Yan Peng.
Thank you, Nurse Yang Peng!
